GUOHUA YIN 【美国籍】

Dr. Guohua Yin graduated from Shandong Agricultural University with a Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology. Her main research interests focus on the nucleic acid molecules and applications. She has worked on the fungal taxonomy, molecular diagnosis, mycotoxin research, and the omics technology of fungi. Her research also included evaluation of the fungal volatile organic compounds by using Drosophila and their mutants at Rutgers University, USA. She has conducted research on the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of weed tolerance to herbicides at the University of Arkansas. She led the research and developed an endophytic bacterial double-stranded RNA delivery approach to control plant pests at New Mexico Consortium and Pebble Labs Inc. She worked on the Fusarium graminearum diseases and its bio-control at Mycotoxin Prevention and Applied Microbiology Research Unit, National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, USA. She decided to give up her well-paid job in the U.S.A. and returned to China to join Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, China, in March, 2023 and joined us in July of the same year. She has published more than sixty papers in international core journals and was granted one PCT patent, and she has many scientific research achievements.
